Jeonbuk National University (JBNU; Korean: 전북대학교) is a comprehensive public research university established in 1947 and located in Jeonju, South Korea. As one of South Korea's ten flagship national universities, its mission is to contribute to regional and national development by fostering creative and global-minded individuals through education, research, and industry-academia collaboration. JBNU aims to be a "rewarding university and close companion" that leads both its local community and the world, striving to become a "Global Top 100" university.
