10. BriefGlance Wire: purchases, credits and refunds
BriefGlance Wire is provided by Linkator Ltd. These terms apply to purchases of Wire credits.
- Wire is sold to businesses only. By buying, you confirm that you are acting for a business.
- A credit lets you publish one press release. Each credit has a validity period, shown when you buy. We send a reminder about 7 days before a credit expires. A credit that expires unused is not refunded.
- If a release is not approved in moderation, we restore the credit. If you do not want to submit another release, you can ask us for a refund of that credit.
- Before a release is published, you can ask for a full refund of an unused credit.
- After a release has been published as approved, we do not refund it, because the service has been provided. We will refund the credit or give a replacement credit if the problem is ours, for example if we changed your content, published it under the wrong company, or a technical fault stopped it appearing.
- You can ask us to take a published release down. A takedown does not entitle you to a refund.
- If you buy or publish on behalf of another company, for example as an agency, you confirm that you are authorised to publish the release in that company’s name, and you are responsible for its content. The invoice is issued to the buyer, and any refund is paid to the buyer.
- Payment buys publication on Wire. Under the current feed policy, qualifying releases are placed in our editors’ internal feed; low-value, spam and routine disclosure items are excluded. It does not guarantee that an editor reads the release or buy editorial coverage, tone, or influence over what our editors write.
- These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
