How Consent Works Across Regions

We use Google's CMP as a single, unified consent layer so that the consent experience matches the regulations that apply to your region:

  • EEA, UK, and Switzerland: Google's GDPR message asks for your consent to cookies and to the use of your data for ad personalisation before non-essential cookies are set. Consent signals are passed to Google AdSense and Google Analytics via Consent Mode v2.
  • US states with privacy laws (e.g. CPRA in California): Google's US state regulations message offers the choices required by your state, including the option to opt out of the "sale or sharing" of personal data.
  • Other regions: no consent dialog is shown by default; Consent Mode v2 signals are set to granted and you may opt out at any time using the Google tools above or your browser settings.

Because the consent layer is managed by Google and integrated with the advertising tags, your choices automatically apply across the whole site.
