Managing Your Cookie Preferences

You have several options to control cookies:

Google Consent Management Platform (CMP)

Consent and opt-out on this site are handled by Google's Consent Management Platform, which is integrated with the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF) and brought to you by our advertising partner, Google AdSense. It is shown automatically to visitors in the regions where a consent message is required by law:

  • EEA, UK, Switzerland — European regulations (GDPR) message
  • US states with privacy laws (currently California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah and others as laws come into force) — US state regulations message

You can change your consent choices at any time: the Google CMP dialog includes a "Privacy options" link at the bottom that re-opens your choices. If you have dismissed the dialog you can clear the relevant Google CMP cookies (look for those whose names start with FC and cookieConsent) and reload the page to be prompted again.

Browser Settings

Configure your browser to block or delete cookies:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies
  • Firefox: Preferences → Privacy & Security → Cookies
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Cookies
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and Site Permissions

Google Ads and Analytics opt-out

For advertising cookies set by Google and its partners, you can also manage your personal advertising choices directly with Google:

  • Google Ad Settings — control ad personalization
  • Google Analytics Opt-out — opt out of Google Analytics

For other regions (where Google's CMP does not display a message), opting out via these Google tools or via your browser is the supported way to limit advertising cookies.

Do Not Track

We respect Do Not Track signals. When enabled in your browser, we will not load analytics cookies.

How Consent Works Across Regions

We use Google's CMP as a single, unified consent layer so that the consent experience matches the regulations that apply to your region:

  • EEA, UK, and Switzerland: Google's GDPR message asks for your consent to cookies and to the use of your data for ad personalisation before non-essential cookies are set. Consent signals are passed to Google AdSense and Google Analytics via Consent Mode v2.
  • US states with privacy laws (e.g. CPRA in California): Google's US state regulations message offers the choices required by your state, including the option to opt out of the "sale or sharing" of personal data.
  • Other regions: no consent dialog is shown by default; Consent Mode v2 signals are set to granted and you may opt out at any time using the Google tools above or your browser settings.

Because the consent layer is managed by Google and integrated with the advertising tags, your choices automatically apply across the whole site.
