fuboTV Inc.
fuboTV Inc. is a consumer-first live TV streaming company dedicated to delivering premium sports, news, and entertainment programming, aiming to provide greater choice, flexibility, and value to its subscribers. The company maintains its headquarters in New York City, New York.
Operating as an American over-the-top (OTT) service, Fubo primarily focuses on live sports distribution through its virtual multichannel video programming distributor (vMVPD) model. It offers access to tens of thousands of live sporting events annually, complemented by a wide array of news and entertainment content, available both live and on-demand. Fubo serves customers across the United States, Canada, and Spain, and also manages Molotov, a live TV streaming service in France. The platform is accessible on various devices, including Smart TVs, mobile phones, tablets, and computers, and features advanced functionalities such as 4K streaming and Cloud DVR.
David Gandler co-founded fuboTV and serves as its CEO. In a significant development, The Walt Disney Company completed its acquisition of a 70% majority stake in FuboTV in October 2025, merging it with Hulu's Live TV service. This strategic combination established the newly formed entity as the sixth-largest pay-TV operator in the U.S., boasting nearly 6 million subscribers in North America. Despite the acquisition, Fubo's original management team, led by Gandler, continues to oversee the combined Fubo and Hulu + Live TV operations. The company has also been active in legal challenges, notably securing a preliminary injunction in August 2024 against the Venu Sports joint venture formed by Disney, FOX Corp., and Warner Bros. Discovery. Fubo continues to expand its content portfolio, exemplified by recent distribution agreements with NBCUniversal in June 2026.
