Accessible Media Inc. (AMI) is a not-for-profit Canadian media company headquartered in Toronto, Ontario. Established in 1989 as the National Broadcast Reading Service (NBRS), its core mission is to entertain, inform, and empower Canadians with disabilities, particularly those who are blind or partially sighted, through the provision of relevant original content. AMI aims to be a global leader in media accessibility, ensuring an inclusive society where media is available to all Canadians.

The company operates three primary broadcast services: AMI-tv and AMI-audio in English, and AMI-télé in French. These services are mandated to be carried on the basic tier of all digital television services in Canada and feature described video and closed captioning. AMI-audio provides live original programming and readings from various print publications, while AMI-tv focuses on original content promoting accessibility and inclusion. Additionally, AMI offers a free streaming service, AMI+, which launched in 2023 and expanded to Roku in 2024, providing a diverse range of content created by and for the disability community.

Under the leadership of President and CEO David Errington, AMI continues to expand its programming and reach. Recent notable developments include the announcement of its 2025-26 production slate for AMI-tv and AMI+, featuring new docuseries like "Underdog Inc." and "Pretty Blind" in 2025. In 2026, AMI launched new series such as the preschool program "How We Do It" and "History in 60," alongside the documentary "The Last Days of April." The company also announced the recipients of its 2025 AMI Robert Pearson Memorial Scholarship in January 2026, reinforcing its commitment to supporting the disability community.
