Yiwu Media Convergence Center

Yiwu Media Convergence Center (义乌市融媒体中心) is a public institution directly under the Yiwu Municipal Committee and Municipal Government, established on April 30, 2019. Operating with enterprise-like management, its core mission is to consolidate and expand mainstream ideological public opinion, enhancing communication, guidance, influence, and credibility within the Yiwu region. The center's headquarters are located in Yiwu City, at Jiangdong East Road No. 33, Media Convergence Building.

The center's comprehensive media offerings include four television channels (News Comprehensive, Business and Trade, Public Arts, Graphic), two radio frequencies (News Radio, Traffic Radio), and the print publication "Yiwu Business Newspaper." In the digital realm, it manages official WeChat accounts such as "Yiwu Release" and "Ai Yiwu," the "Ai Yiwu" client application, and video accounts on platforms like WeChat and Douyin. Additionally, it operates the official news portal, Yiwu City Network (ywcity.cn), serving as a primary source for local news and information.

Since its establishment through the merger of the Municipal Party Committee Reporting Group, Yiwu Business Newspaper Group, and Yiwu Radio and Television Media Group, Yiwu Media Convergence Center has been recognized for its advanced media integration development within Zhejiang Province. The center actively promotes Yiwu's international image, participating in initiatives such as those related to the Spring Festival Gala. It has also extended its reach by establishing sub-centers in various townships and streets, aligning with broader national strategies for deep media convergence to strengthen the Party's leadership in media and leverage digital transformation for communication.
