Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP) is a not-for-profit managed care health plan operating as a Joint Powers Agency, headquartered in Rancho Cucamonga, California. Established in 1994, its core mission is "To heal and inspire the human spirit," focusing on organizing and improving the delivery of quality, accessible, and wellness-based healthcare services for residents of San Bernardino and Riverside counties in Southern California.

IEHP offers a range of health coverage options, including Medi-Cal (California's Medicaid program), IEHP DualChoice (a Medicare-Medicaid Plan), and Covered California plans for individuals not eligible for Medi-Cal. The organization provides essential benefits such as emergency services, preventive care, doctor appointments, vision services, and free wellness classes through its network of over 8,000 providers and 36 hospitals. It is recognized for its patient-centered approach, emphasizing preventive care, wellness initiatives, and coordinated healthcare services for its more than 1.4 million members.

As of July 2026, Jarrod McNaughton serves as the Chief Executive Officer, and Patrick Brosnan was appointed Chief Financial Officer in April 2026. IEHP is positioned as one of the top five largest Medicaid health plans and the largest not-for-profit Medicare-Medicaid public health plan in the United States, serving over 90% of the Medi-Cal managed care market in the Inland Empire region. Recent activities include a collaboration in July 2026 with Riverside University Health System to increase childhood lead screenings. However, in September 2025, the Department of Justice filed a lawsuit against IEHP, alleging false claims related to the misuse of Medi-Cal expansion funds. IEHP has also been certified as a Great Place To Work® for six consecutive years.
