Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) is a Danish investment firm and a global leader in energy infrastructure investments, specializing in greenfield renewable energy projects. Recent activities include reaching financial close on the Pestera II onshore wind farm in Romania and partially divesting the 500MW Devilla BESS project in the UK in June 2026. In May 2026, the European Investment Fund committed EUR 200 million to CIP's Advanced Bioenergy Fund II. The firm also commenced fundraising for its sixth flagship fund, Copenhagen Infrastructure VI, targeting €16 billion, following the successful close of Copenhagen Infrastructure V with over EUR 12 billion in commitments in March 2025. The company was founded by Senior Partners Jakob Baruël Poulsen, Torsten Lodberg Smed, Christina Grumstrup Sørensen, and Christian T. Skakkebæk, with Mads Skovgaard-Andersen serving as CEO.
