AUSTIN, TX – November 7, 2025 – Hyundai Motor America, in partnership with Hyundai Hope on Wheels and South Point Hyundai, is demonstrating a commitment to holistic community wellbeing with a $40,000 donation to Central Texas organizations. The investment, split evenly between the Central Texas Food Bank (CTFB) and Dell Children’s Medical Center, highlights a growing trend of corporations addressing societal challenges with multifaceted approaches.

The $20,000 donation to the CTFB will expand hunger relief programs, serving a region where food insecurity remains a persistent issue. CTFB currently serves over 610,000 individuals annually, providing crucial access to nutritious food. The donation to Dell Children’s Medical Center will strengthen pediatric cancer support, furthering research and compassionate care for young patients – the only dedicated children’s cancer center in Central Texas.

“We believe in investing in the fundamental building blocks of a thriving community,” explains Brandon Ramirez, director of corporate social responsibility at Hyundai Motor North America. “Access to nutritious food and quality healthcare are essential for children to reach their full potential, and we’re proud to partner with organizations that share that vision.”

The dual focus on food security and pediatric cancer care isn’t accidental. Addressing Food Insecurity in Central Texas

The donation to the Central Texas Food Bank comes at a crucial time. Despite economic growth in the region, food insecurity remains a significant challenge. The CTFB serves a 19-county service area and relies heavily on donations and volunteers to meet the growing demand for food assistance.

“The need for food assistance has increased significantly in recent years,” says a representative from CTFB. “We’re seeing more families struggling to make ends meet, and we’re grateful for partners like Hyundai who are committed to helping us address this critical issue.”

The donation will help the CTFB expand its programs, including mobile food pantries, school-based food distribution, and emergency food assistance.
