In response to a complex and ever-tightening web of global data regulations, Cohesity is significantly expanding its sovereign cloud ecosystem. The demand for solutions that keep data within specific legal and geographical boundaries has exploded, with organizations needing assurance that their data—including backups and recovery systems—remains compliant with local laws. To address this, Cohesity announced new collaborations with AntemetA in Europe, Singtel in the Asia-Pacific region, and Micrologic in Canada. These partnerships build on its existing role as a launch partner for the AWS European Sovereign Cloud and its certification with Google Cloud’s sovereignty solutions. The partnership with Micrologic is particularly notable, offering access to Cirrus, a "100% Canadian-owned sovereign cloud."
