To bring this vision to life, Verma, who serves as COO and was previously a senior leader at Shopify and Atoms, recruited a team of seasoned technology executives. CEO Jonathan Grubb brings experience from executive roles at Bird and OpenTable, while Chief Technology Officer Justin Balthrop was a co-founder of Bird, which he helped lead to a $2.5 billion IPO on the NYSE.

The founding team's impressive track record helped attract the $4 million pre-seed round. The financing was led by Kevin Mahaffey at Signal Noise Ratio, with participation from Hannah Grey, Antler Criticality Fund with the State of New Mexico, John Hering of Vy Capital and x.ai, Marty Tenenbaum, and Kestrin Pantera. The company has also secured deep medical expertise. During his own treatment, Verma connected with Dr. Santosh Kesari, one of the nation's top neuro-oncologists and founder of Asthra Health. Dr. Kesari, who shared Verma's enthusiasm for next-generation therapies, has joined Triangle Health as its founding medical advisor.
