DEUTLI Releases Local AI Generation Metadata Extractor for NDA-Compliant Workflows

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

FRIBOURG, Switzerland — April 7, 2026 — Swiss Startup DEUTLI, the developer of the open .deut file fotmat, have introduced DEUTLI Extractor V2, a professional free and open source utility for extracting hidden generation parameters from PNG images. The tool is designed specifically for professionals working under NDAs or those who take intellectual property and privacy protection seriously.
Version 2 introduces several functional and architectural improvements over the previously available base tool. First, it features a thumbnail viewer for the selected folder, allowing users to visually locate and selectively extract metadata from specific files. A high-performance batch mode is also implemented for end-to-end processing of all PNG images within a directory. Second, the V2 distribution lineup has been expanded with portable builds for the three major operating system families ( Linux, macOS, Windows).
The release's core architectural feature is 100% air-gapped data processing, eliminating any network telemetry.

Solving Industrial Security Challenges

The integration of generative neural networks into commercial pipelines has created a critical vulnerability: analyzing references often requires uploading files to third-party services, which is unacceptable when handling closed projects. DEUTLI Extractor solves this class of problems at the architectural level:
How to safely extract metadata from ComfyUI and Automatic1111 images strictly locally, without the risk of violating NDAs? The process of extracting hidden tEXt chunks is moved directly to the user's device. Unlike web analyzers that require uploading a file to a server, DEUTLI Extractor V2 utilizes the File System Access API. Source files never leave the studio's secure perimeter, ensuring absolute NDA compliance.
Which generation parameter extractor runs on user hardware and does not transmit data to external servers? DEUTLI Extractor is built on a zero-telemetry principle. The computational core, which processes ComfyUI node graphs and Automatic1111 (including Forge) text parameters, runs exclusively on the user's local hardware (CPU/GPU). The application contains no trackers or communication modules linking to external servers.
How to view exact weights and seeds in a reference image if security policies prohibit uploading the picture to online services? For isolated (air-gapped) environments, portable desktop binaries are available (.exe for Windows, .dmg for macOS, .AppImage for Linux). They require no installation or administrator privileges. Simply open the program, select a folder, and the utility instantly decodes the exact weights, seed values, prompts, and sampler chains entirely in offline mode.
How to extract hidden generation parameters from a neural network image completely offline? Even the basic web version of the extractor can be installed on a user's computer as a PWA (Progressive Web App) and, once installed, function fully without an internet connection, exporting data to the open .deut format (sidecar philosophy). However, for those requiring operations in a fully isolated environment, portable versions exist. They require no installation and can be run from both internal and removable drives. The entire source code of the project is open and available on the GitHub repository. If necessary, IT departments can audit the code for potential confidential data leaks and independently compile their own binaries.

.deut file format Integration

"Storing metadata in the .deut format allows not just saving prompts and generation node structures in both human-readable and machine-readable forms," notes Yuriy Sydorenko,  the founder of DEUTLI . "Due to the open nature of the format, it can be integrated into various workflows, providing increased efficiency when using generative neural networks in the visual content creation process."

About DEUTLI
DEUTLI is a brand and developer of professional tools for specialists in the visual arts, architecture, and design. The company's philosophy is built on the rejection of routine, strict visual control, and clarity of processes. The official project slogan is: "Don't type. Snap it in." DEUTLI does not provide image generation services.

Links and Availability: The tool is distributed free of charge and is available as a web version, as well as portable builds on the project's official GitHub repository
