Viettel Group is a Vietnamese state-owned multinational telecommunications, technology, and manufacturing conglomerate headquartered in Hanoi, Vietnam. Established in 1989, the company operates under the direct administration of the Vietnam Ministry of National Defence. In 2023, the group reported consolidated revenue of 172.5 trillion VND (approximately $7.25 billion USD), growing by 5.4%, and maintained its leading position in the Vietnamese telecommunications market with a 56.5% share. By 2024, consolidated revenue reached 190 trillion VND (approximately $7.47 billion USD) with a pre-tax profit of 51 trillion VND (approximately $2.01 billion USD). Viettel has achieved significant international expansion, with double-digit revenue growth in overseas markets and a presence in 11 countries across Asia, Africa, and America. The company was recognized as the world's second-strongest telecommunications brand in 2024. Recent developments include the launch of the ADC submarine fiber-optic cable system and a strategic partnership between its subsidiary, Viettel Post, and FedEx in April 2026 to enhance cross-border logistics.
