THEON International PLC is a leading developer and manufacturer of customizable night vision, thermal imaging, and electro-optical Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) systems for military, security, and civilian applications. Established in 1997 in Greece, the company maintains its headquarters in Nicosia, Cyprus. Its core mission is to enable visualization in low-light or obscured conditions through advanced optoelectronic devices, serving a global footprint that spans over 70 countries.

THEON's product portfolio includes a range of night vision monoculars, binoculars, weapon sights (both stand-alone and clip-on), night driver's viewers, and digital day and night cameras. The company also specializes in thermal imaging devices such as weapon sights, small clip-on thermal systems, and vehicle and platform-based thermal imaging systems. Additionally, THEON provides ISR optonics, border/coastal surveillance electro-optical systems, and offers comprehensive services including customized design, integrated logistics support, maintenance, and spare parts.

THEON International PLC was listed on Euronext Amsterdam in February 2024, a move that has supported its growth ambitions. Christianos Hadjiminas serves as the Founder, Vice-Chairperson, and CEO, with Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic as the Independent Chairperson. The company has recently secured significant orders, including a €70 million order from Rheinmetall, and has made strategic investments, such as a $3 million investment in AI defense startup Twin Prime to integrate artificial intelligence across its product offerings. THEON has also entered into exclusivity agreements for potential acquisitions, including an 80% stake in French firm Merio and HGH Systèmes Infrarouges, aiming to expand its multi-domain ISR and Counter-UAS solutions.
