The MolinaCares Accord is a community investment platform established by Molina Healthcare, Inc., dedicated to building stronger communities by improving people's health and lives. Its mission is to leverage financial resources, thought leadership, and available assets to support innovative initiatives, partnerships, and programs that enhance access to care and quality of life for disadvantaged populations, aiming for measurable positive outcomes in the communities it serves. The Accord operates under the umbrella of Molina Healthcare, Inc., which is headquartered in Long Beach, California.

The MolinaCares Accord focuses on funding meaningful, measurable, and innovative solutions to address critical healthcare gaps. Key areas of focus include combating racial disparities in healthcare access and delivery, addressing social determinants of health, tackling opioid use disorder, improving rural healthcare access, and providing care for the elderly and vulnerable. The initiative supports programs related to behavioral health, maternal and child health, workforce development, and essential health-related social needs such as housing stability, food security, and transportation.

As the philanthropic arm of Molina Healthcare, Inc., The MolinaCares Accord actively engages in community partnerships and grant-making. Recent activities in 2026 include a $120,000 grant to Hebrew SeniorLife for senior wellness programs in April, a $256,000 investment in the "MolinaCares for Idaho Families Initiative" in May to improve healthcare access, and the launch of the "Advancing Health: Powered by Local Partnerships" initiative in Missouri in June, committing over $300,000 to expand access to behavioral, maternal, rural, and primary healthcare services. Additionally, in June, it provided a $95,000 grant to the March of Dimes in Chicago for the Doula-Hospital Integration Program, and in March, donated $125,000 to the Community Foundation of Northern Nevada for regional behavioral health initiatives. Carolyn Ingram serves as the executive director of The Molina Healthcare Charitable Foundation, which funds the Accord's initiatives.
