Under the leadership of CEO & MD Anand Athreya, Tejas Networks has recently secured significant contracts, including a ₹7,492 crore agreement in August 2023 to supply 4G/5G Radio Access Network (RAN) equipment for BSNL's pan-India network. The company has also partnered with NEC Corporation to supply 5G Massive MIMO radios, signaling international expansion efforts. In March 2024, Tejas Networks signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Telecom Egypt, ITIDA, and NTI of Egypt. While recent quarters have seen reported net losses due to deferred orders, the company continues to expand its reach, having completed the delivery of 17,000 IP/MPLS routers for BharatNet Phase III and winning the Golden Peacock Innovative Product/Service Award 2026 for its WavePlexus™ RAN products.
