Pennsylvania Association of Realtors® (PAR)
The Pennsylvania Association of Realtors® (PAR) is a professional trade association dedicated to serving real estate professionals across the Commonwealth. Its core mission is to protect private property rights, foster a consistent and reliable real estate marketplace, and uphold the professional, ethical, and successful practice of real estate. Headquartered in Lemoyne, PA, PAR also works to promote homeownership, encourage real estate investment, and advance civil development and economic growth within Pennsylvania.
PAR provides a comprehensive suite of services and resources to its more than 39,000 members, who include residential and commercial Realtors®, property managers, and appraisers. Key offerings include legislative and regulatory advocacy, a legal hotline for member inquiries, standardized real estate forms, continuing education programs, and various publications and communications. The association also hosts meetings, conventions, and forums, and offers a Solutions Center to assist members with their operational needs.
As one of the largest professional associations in Pennsylvania and among the top 10 largest state associations nationally, PAR plays a significant role in the state's real estate landscape. David Dean serves as the 2026 President, with Michael McGee as the CEO. Recent activities include reporting on the Pennsylvania housing market, noting a jump in median home sales prices and increased sales in March 2026, and regularly updating its standard forms to reflect industry changes.
