Pasqal Holding SAS
Pasqal is a French quantum computing company that develops neutral-atom quantum processors for industrial applications. Founded in 2019 by Georges-Olivier Reymond, Christophe Jurczak, Nobel Prize winner Professor Dr. Alain Aspect, Dr. Antoine Browaeys, and Dr. Thierry Lahaye, the company's mission is to augment classical infrastructures by engineering and deploying scalable neutral-atom quantum processors. Headquartered in Palaiseau, France, Pasqal is also establishing a U.S. headquarters in Illinois with a significant investment.
Pasqal offers a full-stack quantum computing solution, encompassing hardware, software, and cloud integration. Its key products include neutral-atom quantum processing units (QPUs) that operate in both analog and digital modes. The company provides Quantum Computing-as-a-Service (QCaaS) through its own cloud platform and major providers like Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure, alongside software development kits (SDKs) such as Pulser for programming. Pasqal's solutions target complex computational challenges in optimization, simulation, and artificial intelligence across diverse sectors, including energy, finance, logistics, aerospace & defense, manufacturing & materials science, pharma & healthcare, and government.
As a global leader in neutral-atom quantum computing, Pasqal is actively expanding its market presence and capabilities. The company is pursuing a public listing on Nasdaq through a business combination with Bleichroeder Acquisition Corp. II (NASDAQ: BBCQ), a transaction valued at $2 billion pre-money and expected to close in the second half of 2026. Pasqal has achieved control over 250+ physical qubits and demonstrated the execution of two logical qubits. Recent developments include the appointment of Stéphane Rougeot as CFO and a strategic partnership with MegazoneCloud for hardware deployment in South Korea. The company currently has 7 QPUs installed and 3 more in production, serving over 25 clients and partners globally.
