As of August 22, 2024, Paragonix Technologies, Inc. was acquired by Getinge, a global medical technology company, for an estimated $477 million, including upfront and earn-out payments. Lisa Anderson, Ph.D., serves as the Co-Founder, President, and CEO of Paragonix. The company has significantly expanded its reach, with its devices used in over 260 transplant centers nationwide, representing more than 80% of U.S. centers, and has supported over 18,000 transplant cases since 2018. Paragonix also maintains the GUARDIAN clinical registries, which constitute the largest database of organ preservation data globally, reinforcing its commitment to clinical research and improved patient outcomes. The company has also launched a nationwide organ transplant logistics network and a courier service in partnership with Nationwide Organ Recovery Transport Alliance (NORA).
