In September 2024, Oxford BioMedica rebranded to OXB, a move that signifies its evolution into a pure-play cell and gene therapy CDMO with a global footprint. Frank Mathias serves as the Chief Executive Officer. The company operates state-of-the-art GMP facilities across the UK, US, and France, and in September 2023, it acquired ABL Europe. OXB has also been involved in significant collaborations, including a partnership with the Jenner Institute, Oxford University, in April 2020 for the development and manufacture of a COVID-19 vaccine.
