Natura Resources LLC is a privately held company dedicated to developing commercially deployable molten salt reactors (MSRs) to address the global demand for reliable energy, medical isotopes, and clean water. Headquartered in Abilene, Texas, the company focuses on advancing nuclear energy with enhanced safety, efficiency, and minimal environmental impact.

Natura Resources specializes in liquid-fueled, molten salt-cooled small modular reactors (SMRs), including its MSR-1 demonstration system and the commercial MSR-100. These advanced reactors are designed for various applications, such as electricity generation, high process heat for industrial uses like hydrogen production and steel manufacturing, and water desalination. The technology aims to provide 24/7 carbon-free energy, increase fuel utilization, and significantly reduce waste compared to traditional nuclear power generation.

Under the leadership of Founder and CEO Douglass Robison, Natura Resources has achieved several milestones, including receiving a construction permit from the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) for its MSR-1 system at Abilene Christian University, marking it as the first liquid-fueled reactor design to obtain such a permit. The company has also expanded its capabilities through strategic partnerships, such as the acquisition of Shepherd Power from NOV Inc. and a collaboration with NOV to deploy gigawatts of SMRs by the early 2030s. Additionally, Natura Resources has secured agreements for High-Assay Low-Enriched Uranium (HALEU) fuel supply and operates a Molten Salt Test System, demonstrating its commitment to bringing Gen IV nuclear reactor technology to market.
