National Safety Council (NSC)

The National Safety Council (NSC) is a mission-based, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to eliminating preventable deaths and injuries across workplaces, roadways, homes, and communities. Founded in 1913 and chartered by Congress in 1953, the organization is headquartered in Itasca, Illinois. The NSC achieves its mission through leadership, research, education, and advocacy, aiming to make the world safer.
