Nanobiotix S.A. is a late-stage clinical biotechnology company headquartered in Paris, France, and founded in 2003. The company is dedicated to pioneering physics-based nanotherapeutics with the mission to revolutionize treatment outcomes for millions of cancer patients and expand possibilities for human life.

The core of Nanobiotix's product portfolio is NBTXR3, also known as Hensify® in Europe, a first-in-class "radioenhancer" composed of hafnium oxide nanoparticles. This technology is designed for direct injection into tumors, where it amplifies the localized killing effect of radiation therapy by increasing the energy dose deposited within cancer cells, without escalating toxicity to surrounding healthy tissues. NBTXR3 is being developed for various solid tumors, including soft tissue sarcoma, head and neck, liver, prostate, pancreatic, esophageal, rectal, and non-small cell lung cancer. The company holds over 30 patent families across nanotechnology platforms for oncology, bioavailability and biodistribution, and central nervous system disorders.

Under the leadership of CEO Laurent Levy, Nanobiotix has established a global co-development and commercialization agreement for JNJ-1900 (NBTXR3) with Janssen Pharmaceutica NV, a Johnson & Johnson company. Recent corporate developments include its inclusion in the Euronext Tech Leaders segment and Index in June 2026, and a global follow-on equity offering in May 2026. NBTXR3 has received European marketing authorization (CE marking) for soft tissue sarcoma and U.S. FDA Fast Track designation for head and neck cancer. The company has also reported positive Phase 2 results for JNJ-1900 in Stage III non-small cell lung cancer and continues to advance clinical trials for other indications.
