Mowi ASA is a Norwegian seafood company and the world's largest producer of Atlantic salmon, operating with a fully integrated value chain from roe to plate. Mowi employs approximately 11,500 to 12,500 people across 26 countries globally.

The company's core business encompasses three main areas: Feed, Farming, and Sales & Marketing. Mowi offers a diverse range of products, including farmed salmon and trout, fresh fish, fillets, steaks, and various value-added products such as smoked salmon, ready meals, burgers, and tartars. Under the leadership of CEO Ivan Vindheim, Mowi maintains a dominant market position, holding an estimated 20-30% share of the global salmon and trout market. The company has been recognized as the most sustainable protein producer by the Coller FAIRR Protein Producer Index for multiple consecutive years. Recent strategic initiatives include a record Q1 2026 salmon harvest, the acquisition of a controlling stake in Nova Sea AS in January 2025 to enhance its presence in Northern Norway, and a strategic review of its Integrated Feed Division initiated in March 2025. Mowi aims to harvest 600,000 tonnes of salmon and achieve EUR 8.5 billion in revenue by 2029, driven by digitalization, automation, and an increased focus on value-added products.
