Event summary

HUTCHMED's SANOVO Phase III trial showed ORPATHYS® (savolitinib) plus TAGRISSO® significantly improved progression-free survival (PFS) in treatment-naïve patients with MET-overexpressing EGFR-mutated lung cancer in China.
The trial enrolled 326 patients, with the combination therapy demonstrating a statistically significant and clinically meaningful improvement in PFS versus TAGRISSO® alone.
Encouraging overall survival (OS) data was also observed, though the trial will continue to follow up on these results.
ORPATHYS® plus TAGRISSO® is already approved in China for pre-treated patients with MET amplification after disease progression on EGFR-TKI therapy.

The big picture

The positive results from the SANOVO trial validate HUTCHMED's strategy of addressing MET-driven disease across multiple stages of lung cancer.
