Event summary

HUTCHMED's SANOVO Phase III trial showed ORPATHYS® plus TAGRISSO® significantly improved progression-free survival (PFS) in treatment-naïve patients with MET-overexpressing EGFR-mutated lung cancer.
The trial enrolled 326 patients in China, with results demonstrating a statistically significant PFS benefit in both high MET and intention-to-treat populations.
The combination also showed encouraging overall survival (OS) benefits, a secondary endpoint, with follow-up ongoing.
ORPATHYS® plus TAGRISSO® is already approved in China for pre-treated patients, with additional global trials (SAFFRON) reporting positive results in August 2026.
