Eve Air Mobility, operating as Eve Holding, Inc., is a Brazilian-American company dedicated to accelerating the Urban Air Mobility (UAM) ecosystem. The company's mission is to reimagine human connections by creating safe, sustainable, and accessible mobility experiences. Headquartered in São José dos Campos, São Paulo, Brazil, and Melbourne, Florida, USA, Eve Air Mobility was founded in October 2020 as a spin-off from EmbraerX, the innovation division of Embraer S.A.
Eve's core offerings include the development and production of electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, such as the Eve-100 model. Beyond aircraft manufacturing, the company provides a comprehensive suite of services, including maintenance, pilot and mechanic training, operational solutions, and an Urban Air Traffic Management (UATM) system known as Vector. These solutions aim to support the integrated operation of UAM aircraft and infrastructure.
In recent news, Eve Air Mobility achieved 50 successful test flights with its full-scale engineering prototype by April 2026, accumulating over two hours of flight time. The company expects to begin producing conforming prototypes in 2026, targeting an entry into service for its eVTOL aircraft in 2027. Eve also announced its first eVTOL production facility will be located in Taubaté, São Paulo, Brazil, within an existing Embraer unit. Led by CEO Johann Bordais, Eve benefits significantly from the aerospace expertise and global infrastructure of its parent company, Embraer, and has secured substantial funding, including a $230 million capital raise in August 2025.
