Emergency Nurses Association

ENA provides a comprehensive suite of services to its nearly 50,000 members across 35 nations, including evidence-based education and training programs such as the Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) and the Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC). The association also conducts and supports research, publishes professional guidelines and a peer-reviewed journal (Journal of Emergency Nursing), and advocates for legislative and regulatory changes impacting emergency care. In recent news, ENA initiated the recruitment process for its next Chief Executive Officer in May 2026, seeking a leader to further position the organization as a forward-thinking force in nursing. The association hosted its annual Emergency Nursing 2025 conference in New Orleans, attracting 4,000 attendees, and announced Phoenix as the host city for Emergency Nursing 2026. Dustin Bass serves as the current ENA President. The ENA Foundation, its philanthropic arm, continues to support the specialty through scholarships and grants, having honored recipients with the Keystone Award in 2025.
