Caleres, Inc. is an American footwear company that designs, develops, sources, manufactures, and distributes footwear for all ages. Founded in 1878 as Bryan, Brown & Company, the company's mission is to "Inspire people to feel great... feet first." Its headquarters are located in Clayton, Missouri, a suburb of St. Louis.
Caleres operates through two primary segments: Famous Footwear and Brand Portfolio. The Famous Footwear segment includes its retail stores and e-commerce sites, while the Brand Portfolio segment encompasses wholesale operations and direct-to-consumer sales of its owned and licensed brands.
