Asahi Kasei Installs Alkaline-Water Electrolyzer in Finland’s First Commercial Hydrogen Station

  • Asahi Kasei has begun installing a 1 MW-class Aqualyzer™-C3 electrolyzer at Finland’s first commercial hydrogen refueling station in Jyväskylä.
  • The electrolyzer will produce 400kg of hydrogen per day, enough to refuel approximately 3 fuel cell vehicles (FCVs) per hour.
  • Operations are scheduled to start in the summer of 2026, with Cefmof Hydrogen operating the system.
