Aktis Oncology, Inc. is a clinical-stage oncology company dedicated to discovering and developing a new class of targeted radiopharmaceuticals to treat a broad range of solid tumors. Headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, the company's mission is to expand the breakthrough potential of targeted radiopharmaceuticals to large patient populations, including those not adequately addressed by existing platform technologies, aiming to realize the curative power of alpha radiopharmaceuticals for mainstream cancer care.

The company leverages a proprietary miniprotein radioconjugate platform designed to selectively deliver potent alpha-emitting radioisotopes, specifically Actinium-225 (Ac-225), directly to tumors. This platform is engineered for high tumor penetration and long residence times, while ensuring rapid clearance from healthy tissues to minimize side effects. Aktis Oncology's pipeline includes lead candidates AKY-1189, a Nectin-4-targeting miniprotein radioconjugate for solid tumors such as urothelial, breast, NSCLC, colorectal, and cervical cancers, currently in a Phase 1b study with preliminary results anticipated in Q1 2027. Their second advanced program, AKY-2519, targets B7-H3-expressing solid tumors, including prostate, lung, and breast cancers, with a Phase 1b trial expected to commence mid-2026.

Aktis Oncology completed an upsized Initial Public Offering (IPO) in January 2026, raising approximately $318 million, with shares trading on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the ticker symbol AKTS. Eli Lilly participated as an anchor investor in the IPO and also has a strategic collaboration with Aktis to develop novel radioconjugates, involving a $60 million upfront payment and potential milestone payments up to $1.2 billion. Matthew Roden, PhD, serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer, leading the company's efforts to address unmet medical needs in prevalent solid tumors.
