AB KN Energies is an international energy terminal operator headquartered in Klaipėda, Lithuania. The company's core business revolves around ensuring safe and reliable flows of liquid energy products and liquefied natural gas (LNG). Formerly known as AB Klaipedos nafta, the company officially changed its legal name to AB KN Energies in January 2024 to better reflect its long-term strategic commitment to sustainable energy and its expanding international operations.

KN Energies operates a diverse portfolio of energy infrastructure, including liquid energy product terminals in Klaipėda, Subačius, and Marijampolė, Lithuania. It also manages LNG terminals in Lithuania (Klaipėda LNG terminal, featuring the FSRU Independence), Brazil, and Germany, providing commercial operation services for several floating LNG terminals. The company's services encompass transshipment, storage, and reloading of petroleum products, crude oil, and other liquid energy products, alongside developing new energy ventures such as hydrogen carriers, synthetic fuels, and carbon dioxide.

Under the leadership of CEO Darius Šilenskis, KN Energies is actively pursuing its strategic goal to become a leader in sustainable energy storage and transportation in the Baltics by 2050, aiming for climate neutrality. Recent developments include the acquisition of the FSRU Independence, a grant agreement with the European Commission for technical and commercial studies for a CO2 terminal in Klaipėda as part of the CCS Baltic Consortium, and the selection of a contractor for the Klaipėda LNG terminal electrification project. The company's expanding international footprint, particularly in Germany, underscores its role in enhancing regional and international energy security.
