To replicate this success, Craif is methodically building a U.S. operation from the ground up. The company established a subsidiary in 2022, joined the prestigious JLABS incubator, and in April of this year, opened a state-of-the-art bio-AI laboratory in the biotech hub of San Diego. In a clear signal of intent, CEO and co-founder Ryuichi Onose has relocated to lead the U.S. business himself.
“I moved to San Diego to build our U.S. business myself, because the United States is the hardest and most important market to prove this technology,” Onose stated.
Key to navigating this difficult market is leadership. Craif recently appointed Dr. Nicholas Bevins as Chief Medical Officer.
