Information required for onboarding, compliance, finance, and operations resided in separate systems, with no single source of truth. For a company managing thousands of vendors, this fragmentation created significant operational drag. Programmed selected Rapid Global for vendor onboarding and compliance and turned to the Boomi Enterprise Platform to serve as the critical integration and data management backbone. Implemented by Boomi partner Adaptiv, the solution placed the vendor record at the very heart of the architecture.

Boomi Data Hub now acts as the master data management (MDM) engine, creating and governing a 'golden record' for each vendor. This central, authoritative record includes all key profile information, from compliance status and certifications to insurance details. One of the most critical features is the platform's quarantine capability, which automatically detects and isolates inconsistent records from upstream systems before they can pollute the central record and spread across the enterprise—a crucial safeguard against data integrity issues.

Meanwhile, Boomi Integration connects the entire vendor lifecycle across core systems. This includes pulling data from Rapid Global, synchronizing it with the ERP and financial processing in Microsoft D365 F&O, and pushing it downstream to work order management platforms. The technical execution, led by Adaptiv, revealed a deeper layer of operational innovation. For instance, the integration with D365 Finance & Operations initially generated hundreds of API calls per execution. Adaptiv cleverly leveraged Boomi Event Streams to decouple batch results, allowing each vendor to be handled in its own execution. This elegant solution reduced API traffic, simplified monitoring, and made troubleshooting dramatically easier—a quiet but powerful change in how the company functions.
