Moxies Ignites CityPlace with New Social Dining Destination

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – March 20, 2026 – As West Palm Beach continues its ascent as one of South Florida's most dynamic urban centers, a new player is set to amplify its culinary heartbeat. Moxies, the acclaimed premium casual dining brand, will officially open its doors on Tuesday, March 24, at 565 S. Rosemary Ave., planting its flag in the bustling heart of CityPlace. The opening marks the brand's third location in Florida and a significant addition to the city's rapidly evolving dining and entertainment landscape.

To commemorate its arrival, Moxies will host a public ribbon-cutting ceremony at 5 p.m. on opening day, inviting the community to experience the energetic atmosphere and sophisticated design that has become its signature. The new restaurant is poised to become a go-to destination, catering to a diverse clientele from after-work professionals to weekend socialites and visitors exploring the city.

A New Social Hub for a Growing City

Designed as more than just a place to eat, Moxies aims to be a central gathering spot for connection and celebration. The interior architecture is centered around a statement bar, creating a natural focal point for social interaction. For more exclusive gatherings, a fully private dining room, complete with its own dedicated bar, offers an intimate setting for corporate events or personal celebrations.

Perhaps most impressively, the space extends to a spacious covered patio with seating for up to 88 guests, providing a versatile, open-air option for enjoying South Florida's climate. This thoughtful design underscores the brand's focus on creating a multifaceted social experience.

The menu of offerings is curated to match this lively environment. Guests can look forward to a daily Happy Hour from 3–6 p.m., a popular midweek draw with half-priced bottles of wine every Wednesday, and a vibrant late-night scene on weekends. The restaurant will also introduce its signature brunch, featuring build-your-own mimosas alongside a selection of sweet and savory dishes, tapping into the popular weekend dining trend.

“We’ve seen an incredible response in South Florida, and what stands out most is how each community has embraced Moxies,” said Paul Randle, president of EATZ Hospitality and a multi-unit Moxies franchisee. “That kind of connection comes from investing in our people, building lasting relationships and creating spaces that reflect the character of each neighborhood. We’re looking forward to bringing that same approach to West Palm Beach.”

Fueling West Palm Beach's Economic Renaissance

The arrival of Moxies is a testament to West Palm Beach's powerful economic momentum, a trend largely driven by the ambitious redevelopment of CityPlace by developer Related Ross. The restaurant is not just a new amenity; it's a significant economic contributor, creating 200 new jobs across front-of-house, culinary, and management roles. This influx of employment opportunities provides a tangible boost to the local economy.

This opening is strategically timed with CityPlace's broader transformation. The district is in the midst of a more than $550 million evolution from a retail center into a comprehensive, mixed-use urban neighborhood. This includes the construction of new Class AA office towers like 10 CityPlace and 15 CityPlace, which are expected to bring thousands of new professionals into the area daily. These employees represent a built-in clientele for daytime and evening dining and socializing.

“Moxies is a great addition to CityPlace, and we’re excited for our visitors, residents and office tenants to experience it,” said Webber Hudson, executive vice president at Related Ross. “It offers an inviting, energetic setting where people can connect over great food and drinks in the heart of downtown. As West Palm Beach continues to grow as a vibrant destination for dining and entertainment, Moxies perfectly complements that momentum.”

By establishing deep roots through partnerships with Related Life and Related Ross, Moxies is integrating itself into the community's fabric, positioning itself as an active participant in the neighborhood's growth rather than just a tenant.

A Strategic Move in a Competitive Market

Moxies' expansion into West Palm Beach is a calculated move in its broader North American growth strategy. The brand has successfully carved out a niche in the "premium casual" or "polished-casual" segment, offering an elevated experience that bridges the gap between traditional casual chains and formal fine dining. Its globally inspired, chef-driven menu and innovative beverage program are designed to appeal to discerning diners seeking quality without pretense.

The decision to open in West Palm Beach was bolstered by the proven success of its other Florida locations in Miami's Brickell neighborhood and Fort Lauderdale. These restaurants have been lauded for their high-energy atmosphere and consistent quality, demonstrating the brand's appeal within the competitive South Florida market. This third location solidifies its regional footprint and serves as a launchpad for further expansion.

This opening is part of an aggressive U.S. growth plan that includes upcoming locations in other high-energy markets such as Chicago, Washington D.C., Nashville, and Austin. The strategy targets cities with strong dining cultures and robust growth, and West Palm Beach fits that profile perfectly. Within CityPlace, Moxies joins an increasingly sophisticated culinary roster that includes established concepts like True Food Kitchen and upcoming international sensations like Eataly, contributing to a diverse and competitive dining ecosystem.

The new restaurant will be open seven days a week: Monday through Wednesday from 11 a.m. to midnight, Thursday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to midnight. As doors open next week, Moxies is poised to become a central fixture in the social and culinary life of a city defining its future.
