They join an existing roster of backers including Ridge Ventures, FirstMark Capital, and Flex Capital, alongside a syndicate of operators from prominent Shopify brands. The fresh capital is earmarked to accelerate the development of its flagship product, GoodDayOS™, and to launch a new suite of AI-powered automation tools.
Solving a Pain Point Born from Experience
GoodDay Software was founded by the operators behind two highly successful direct-to-consumer (DTC) ventures, the shorts brand Chubbies and the returns management platform Loop Returns. The company's vision is deeply rooted in the firsthand operational struggles its founders faced while scaling their own businesses. Co-founder Kyle Hency, who helped grow Chubbies from a startup to a nine-figure revenue brand, has spoken openly about the challenges of managing inventory and cash flow with inadequate tools, revealing that the brand nearly ran out of cash multiple times.
