Ameribrands Doubles Down on Hospitality With Second Renovation Firm Buyout
- 2 Major Acquisitions: Ameribrands has acquired two hospitality renovation firms in two years: Genesis Hotel Renovations (2025) and Construction and Hospitality Services (2026).
- 40,000+ Rooms Renovated: Genesis alone has experience renovating over 40,000 hotel rooms across more than 20 states.
- Multi-Billion-Dollar Market: The hotel renovation sector is driven by brand-mandated property improvement plans (PIPs) and modernization needs.
Experts would likely conclude that Ameribrands' strategic acquisitions in the hospitality renovation sector are reshaping the market by consolidating fragmented services into a scalable, national platform, offering hotel owners streamlined and efficient large-scale renovation solutions.
Ameribrands Doubles Down on Hospitality With Second Renovation Firm Buyout
By Amanda Clark
ATLANTA, GA – April 29, 2026 – Ameribrands, a holding company aggressively building a portfolio of integrated service providers, today announced its acquisition of Construction and Hospitality Services, LLC (CHS). The move marks the company’s second major buyout in the hotel renovation sector in as many years, signaling a concerted strategy to consolidate a fragmented market and create a national powerhouse for multi-site hospitality clients.
The Melbourne, Florida-based CHS, which has been rebranded to Commercial Hospitality Solutions, will join a rapidly growing hospitality division within Ameribrands. The deal closely follows the holding company’s September 2025 acquisition of Genesis Hotel Renovations, a similar national provider based in Plano, Texas. Together, these acquisitions are the cornerstones of a strategic blueprint designed to offer hotel owners and operators a single, consistent, and scalable solution for large-scale renovation projects across the country.
“CHS is perfectly synergistic with our previous acquisition of Genesis, expanding our resources and growing our hospitality division,” said Rodney Strickland, President and CEO of Ameribrands, in a statement. “Our vision is to deliver fast, consistent, and exceptional large-scale renovation projects across the country.”
The 'Better Together' Blueprint for Consolidation
Founded in 2023, Ameribrands has pursued a clear and rapid growth trajectory guided by its “Better Together” philosophy. The Georgia-based holding company’s strategy centers on acquiring successful, founder-led businesses that serve the retail, restaurant, and hospitality industries, and then integrating them into a cohesive platform that leverages shared resources and expertise.
This approach aims to solve a common problem for national brands: the difficulty of finding reliable, high-quality service providers who can operate at scale across multiple locations. By acquiring complementary businesses, Ameribrands seeks to build an ecosystem that delivers speed, national reach, and consistency, thereby driving operational efficiency and brand protection for its clients.
The company’s portfolio reflects this diverse yet focused strategy. In addition to its new hospitality renovation division, Ameribrands acquired Allied Stainless, a manufacturer of food service equipment, in March 2024. Its other holdings include Ameritech Facility Services, which specializes in equipment rollouts and remodels; Access Pro Supply, a distributor of commercial restroom fixtures; and Adaptive Construction Management, a provider of construction management staffing.
“Respected, founder-led businesses such as CHS and Genesis add value to the Ameribrands platform, enabling diversity and growth in new verticals,” noted Dr. David Panton, Chairman of Ameribrands. “We are on an expansion journey, and CHS is the natural next step as we build. We plan to continue to partner with businesses that help us scale with speed and quality.”
Forging a Hospitality Renovation Powerhouse
The targeted acquisitions of Genesis and now CHS create a formidable presence in the multi-billion-dollar hotel renovation market. This sector is characterized by consistent demand driven by brand-mandated property improvement plans (PIPs), the need to modernize aging hotel stock, and the constant push to enhance the guest experience.
Genesis Hotel Renovations brought a significant track record to the platform, with experience renovating over 40,000 hotel rooms across more than 20 states. Its expertise in managing projects in occupied hotels, minimizing disruption to guests and operations, is a highly valued specialty. CHS adds to this foundation with its own dozen years of experience and a national client base spanning both commercial and residential projects.
The synergy between the two firms is central to Ameribrands’ strategy. By combining their resources, client lists, and geographic reach, the holding company aims to create an entity capable of handling larger, more complex projects than either could alone. This expanded capacity is critical for serving major hotel flags and large ownership groups that manage extensive portfolios.
For the acquired companies, becoming part of the Ameribrands family provides immediate benefits. CHS will gain access to a robust back-office infrastructure, including centralized support for Accounting, Human Resources, IT, and Marketing. This allows the firm’s leadership to focus on its core competencies: project management and construction.
“Our team is a natural fit within the Ameribrands family,” said Rusty Rich, CEO of CHS. “We can accomplish even more together and we look forward to a partnership of seeing that happen.”
Reshaping the Market for Hotel Owners
For hotel owners and asset managers, the consolidation strategy pursued by Ameribrands offers a compelling value proposition. The traditional process of managing renovations across a national portfolio can be fraught with challenges, including vetting regional contractors, ensuring consistent quality, and managing complex logistics. Ameribrands’ integrated model is designed to be the antidote to these pain points.
By providing a single point of contact for national-scale projects, the company promises to streamline communication and simplify project oversight. The ability to leverage the combined strengths of CHS, Genesis, and other portfolio companies like Access Pro Supply means Ameribrands can offer a more holistic service, from sourcing fixtures to executing full-scale remodels. This integration is already yielding tangible results.
“We’ve seen direct benefits from this model,” Strickland added. “We’ve been able to increase deal sizes and improve margins - something that wouldn’t be possible if the businesses operated independently.”
This focus on efficiency and shared resources suggests a competitive advantage that could reshape the market, putting pressure on smaller, regional firms and larger general contractors who may lack the specialized focus and integrated structure of the Ameribrands platform.
A Well-Funded Expansion
The rapid pace of Ameribrands’ acquisitions is backed by a team of experienced financial and strategic partners. The investment firm Little River Partners played a key role in both the Genesis and CHS transactions, underscoring its confidence in the holding company’s vision and execution.
“We love seeing our clients grow,” said Tristan Wynn, Managing Partner at Little River Partners. He noted that the holding company remains on a clear growth trajectory. “CHS is Ameribrands’ second acquisition in hospitality, with more to come.”
This forward-looking statement, combined with Strickland’s confirmation that the company “remain[s] in acquisition mode,” indicates that the build-out of this national service platform is far from over. The CHS deal was financed by SouthState Bank, with legal counsel provided by Flint, Connolly & Walker, LLP, and advisory services from UHY, demonstrating a robust support network for the ongoing expansion. As Ameribrands continues to selectively pursue hospitality-focused businesses, the industry will be watching to see how this ambitious consolidation play continues to unfold.
